Venice, Italy

Gondola Rides through the water streets

The fresh market on a venice street

San Marcos Square

Well we made it late last night. A short hour and half flight on Ryanair (its like southwest) from Paris to here. Our place is very quaint and clean. But LOUD! haha..its window is on the path way side so people walking by all night echo up the walls and sound like they are in our room! Other then that all is great. PIZZA here is the most amazing thing ever. There is not a whole lot to do and see here its just wonderful walking the unique streets and seeing the gondolas in the waterways. San Marcos square is beautiful we sat there and soaked it all in today. Other then that we dont have very big plans here just relaxing after crazy non stop Paris. Tomorrow(sat) we leave for Florence, Italy.

the one thing that bothered me about italy was the scaffolding all over the cathedrals... but i'm glad to see it hasn't interfered with your gorgeous photos!! wow... venice is just like walking into a real live postcard! i'm so glad you two get to experience all this together! :D so it's probably close to 530pm where you are at the moment... florence tomorrow, yeh? ok, so when you get there, be SURE to see the David... it's incredible! and eat gelato and try to find a ristorante across the street from 'the spleen cafe'... i wish i could remember the name! try a pasta with pesto or spaghetti carbonara and DEFO tiramisu! omw... SO JEALOUS RIGHT NOW!! HAVE FUN!!!!
