Well we did it, we caved in and got our dream camera. We have the D40 and it's nice but this one is the D40 on crack! We thought since we are going on our dream trip, a trip that will NEVER happen again we need the right equipment for it. So a few extra long days rubbing peoples faces and Doug parking cars every so perfectly...paid off! It's going to be nice to have two cameras on our trip, it gets pretty annoying to have to hand over the camera every five pictures, we aren't very good at sharing in this area.
(Plus when we get home - 6 pictures per second will be pretty fun for surf pics!)

YEA Nikon!!! This is a GREAT camera! This is what Chris and I shoot with and LOVE it!! Have a great time with your new toy :)
